For example, I managed a few restaurants in my life for other people.  The two things that would keep a restaurant thriving was Traffic and Process-Convert. To attract cusomers (traffic) to enter the restaurant and buy something.(process-converting)  When they did come in, you had items on the menu that appealed to them to order.  You offered many choices because every potential customer has a different taste for food.  You needed to attract them by good atmosphere, friendliness, pictures, descriptions, sample tasting,  (if possible) price, up-sell suggestions and great service.

It is a numbers strategy in any type of business.  This is the same process for a   Futuristic Online Income at home entrepreneur.  To make a product or service successful you need to get a lot of eyeballs (quality targeted traffic). But only a small percentage will be attracted to your product or service.  Those interested eyeballs will buy what you have and it will solve something for them.   Like the example above “hunger”

The Power of Visual Marketing

The Power of Visual Marketing

Visual marketing is powerful because vivid images carry the potential to impart emotional impact.  Marketing that connects on an emotional level is exceptionally effective.  In fact, these days, if you aren’t telling the story of your business in images on Pinterest and pinterest logoInstagram, some say you’re doing something wrong.

These sites allow you the rare opportunity to take your customers behind the scenes.  They give your brand an identity and make your company appear even more trustworthy.  Many brands have seen remarkable returns from simply asking their customers to take pictures of themselves engaging in their product or service.

These images provide social proof that your service is valuable, and most customers are happy to engage in these contests just for the chance to win an inexpensive prize.

Visual marketing is so powerful that companies and universities are pouring large sums of money into programs that assess how people respond after viewing promotional material.  In fact, corporations have created systems that track eye movements in retail environments in an effort to assess how effectively these images spur customers to take action.

Visual Marketing Tips

It’s a good idea to place your logo on most of the images you create and share on social networks.  You can do this quickly with commercial software like Photoshop, or free alternatives like GIMP.  Branding your images builds trust with viewers — provided that you’re consistently offering them high-quality content — and it increases brand awareness at the same time.

These days, every image on your site should contain a call to action.  Pinterest allows you to add a button to your images.  With this button, your visitors can share the image directly to the network, thus increasing your exposure.  If one person finds your content share-worthy, there is a good chance that someone else will as well.

One practice that you should adopt if you haven’t yet is to embed social media content within your posts.  Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ all allow you to do this. These additions can turn your posts into social hubs, and if you already have decent traffic, you’ll find your content shared more often than ever before.

You can also use SlideShare or a similar service to create slideshows.  Well-designed slideshows can keep your visitors on your domain longer, and you can also use them to direct visitors to other articles on your site.  Slideshows are also extremely sharable. Infographics and videos serve the same function.

Additionally, it pays to customize your Pinterest layouts.  Pinterest traffic is often well targeted, so you want to give your prospect every reason to click.  A good-looking template will get you more clicks, save you time and give your profile a more uniform appearance.

Keeping up to date with visual marketing tactics can be time-consuming. If you’d like to receive qualified leads automatically every month, click here to learn more about my done-for-you system.

The only way left for the little guy…

The only way left for the little guy…

The only way is if you have paid attention to the marketplace recently, you’ll see that digital media is a BIG DEAL…

–  Digital Downloads…

–  E-Books…in the only way

–  Video Courses…

–  Online Tutorials…

–  Podcasts…

–  Video and Audio Streaming…

(In fact, BEATS was just acquired by Apple for several Billion. For the brand name yes, but also for rights to their Audio Streaming Capabilities…)

All of these things you ‘used’ to only see in niche markets or being sold by online
marketers like us.

Now, it’s a multi-billion dollar industry and major corporations are in the game.

This means that advertising and marketing competition out there has become…

…FIERCE.

Just 5 years or so ago, things weren’t like this.

You could easily enter into a niche market, start testing and tweaking a few ads to your ideal customer, and you’d be making a nice profit within days or weeks.

Then, you simply scale your ad spend up, and your profits would increase right along side with it.

Now, advertising costs don’t allow that.  SEO is about as shaky and risky as ever….

We’re just playing a different game these days.  A game you need to be hip to if you want to make a nice income online- and trust me…

It is still 110%, totally possible, yes, even EASY to do so!

In our opinion, this is one of the last and the only way to get rich, or make a great income online right now.

Times may change, but right now, this is how we see things…

The profits are all in the back-end.back end profits in the only way

Without an incredible back-end business in place, you’re Toast.

And not just your average up-sells and additional products to offer either…

We’re talking High Ticket/Top Tier product offerings.

It’s the best way to counter balance the rising costs of advertising and the influx of competition we’re seeing right now.

e.g.:  If you’re spending $150 to acquire a $49 sale, things aren’t looking too great for you.

However, if you’re spending $150 to acquire a $49 sale, and on an average at every 5th sale you get a $1,000 + commission on the back-end…

Now the game has totally changed for you!  This is where the only way comes in.

You’d be begging for $150, $250+ buyers when before they would be killing your business…

Does all of that make sense?

We hope so.turnkey to online success in the only way

It’s a KEY concept to “get”.

So…

If running a low-risk, high profit business like this interests you, then check out the top tier business model here.

Watch the video presentation, take notes, and then make a vow to get started with this ASAP.  We do actually believe it is the only way to succeed online in this current market.

You can literally be making $1,000, $3,000, and $5,000 commissions just a few short weeks from now IF you’re really serious about this and ready to roll.

Social Media Marketing Tools for 2014

Social Media Marketing Tools for 2014

Social media marketing requires a firm understanding of why consumers engage with social networks, as well as the types of data that they like to share.

Your prospects don’t typically visit social networks with the intention of spending money…do you?  Nevertheless, you can entice prospects into your sales funnel if you provide quality content and use a soft touch.

Create Visual Assets

First off, understand that images are shared more than any other type of social media, by far.  Images appeal to our most powerful sense, and they can convey quite a bit of information. infographics in social media 2014 Consumers love to share data-laden infographics because these graphics provide useful information in an easy-to-digest format.

Most marketers plan on creating unique infographics and memes to promote their businesses in the next year, and you want to be one of them.  As always, if you don’t keep up with your competition, you risk being left behind.  Moreover, the quality of your graphics is of prime importance.

Your images should be unique, with snappy graphics that appeal to a broad audience.  If you’re creating an infographic, make sure to place references at the bottom.  It’s also a good idea to place these links as text on the page as well to facilitate easy clicking.

You can take advantage of people’s fondness for images by creating graphics with memorable or inspiring quotes.  Brand the image subtly, and then place it on Pinterest and other social networks with a link back to your high-quality content.  Combined with a well-placed call to action in the content itself, this can serve as an entrance to your sales funnel.

Embrace Google+

While many still scoff at Google+, a recent Forrester report notes that the network has over 500 million active users.  This is more than enough users to justify devoting some time to the network.  Google+ integrates into other Google services as well — think YouTube — which can actually make it easier to build a following.google plus logo in social media 2014

Additionally, Google Authorship, a feature of Google+, can make your articles stand out in Google results.  Google Authorship markup ensures that your headshot will show up in search results alongside your content.  Consumers are more likely to click a smiling face than a blue link.  As Social Media goes, this may be the number one source in the near future.

Finally, while people may spend more time on Facebook, the flipside of that is that there is less competition on Google+ overall.  This may or may not change, but you might as well take advantage of it while you can.

Create a Podcast

A podcast is an inexpensive way to generate a large following over a short period of time. podcasting in social media 2014Consider the audible format:  it’s completely mobile, as it doesn’t require users to glue their eyes to a screen.  Many people listen to podcasts while exercising, driving and during any number of tasks that don’t require their complete attention.

What’s more, you can start a podcast with equipment you likely have lying around.  Do you have a microphone and access to free editing software like Audacity?  If yes, you’re ready to go.  With a podcast, you’ll be able to broadcast directly to people who are interested in your niche.  Importantly, the process is completely automated.

Consumers search for podcasts based on interests, and if they subscribe to your feed, they’ll be alerted each time you release a new podcast.  They can then download the episode and listen to it at their convenience.  Meanwhile, you can place whatever advertisements within the podcast you see fit or promote your hashtags.

Keeping abreast of changes in social media marketing will prove essential to your success in the coming decade.  Generating leads is an ongoing effort, and can take time to master!  But, if you’d like to skip the learning curve and have access to my done-for-you lead generation service, click here to learn more.

Bloggers – Blogging is Serious Business!

Bloggers – Blogging is Serious Business!

Bloggers, in the early days of the Internet, (a blog is a contraction of web log or online journal), were in a space where writers regularly spilled opinions and information about their lives or a chosen subject.

Blogs have put those days behind, as they can now be described as a special kind of website that is regularly updated with posts of texts or media, which are then published in chronological order and used as a potent marketing tool.blog in bloggers

Trustworthy to Bloggers

Consumers and bloggers alike trust the information in blogs.  BlogHer conducted a study in 2012, in partnership with Vision Critical, in which they found that 98% of the bloggers they surveyed trust blogs more than any other form of online media.

What’s more, 87% of this same group had bought a product based on a blog recommendation.  Blogging.org tells us that there are about 31 million bloggers in America.  Businesses of all sizes are doing the math.

Trustworthy to Non-bloggers

Technorati’s 2013 Digital Influence Report revealed this statistic:  blogs come in at number 3 when in comes to influencing what consumers buy, behind retail sites and brand sites.

Perhaps surprisingly, blogs eek past Facebook, by a margin of .3%, when it comes to prompting purchases.  Human beings like to trust the information they are processing, and they trust blogs more than direct marketing vehicles like ads.

Bloggers in an Uncomplicated Medium

blog wordpress in bloggersBloggers use online software like that at Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr, Typepad, Live Journal, Moveable Type, and other spaces.  These online blogging platforms have made it ridiculously easy for bloggers to create the look they want, to use video content and images in their posts, and to interact with their audience.

Therefore, if the owner of a small business (let’s say a kayak shop) wants to make a ripple or even a splash in cyber land, the blog is the way forward.

Proven Traffic Boosters

Boosting traffic is an integral part of all online marketing strategies.  Building the best backyard swings on the continent is a worthy accomplishment, though people have to somehow learn that these awesome swings exist.

Frequency counts:  HubSpot points out that companies that blog more than 20 times a month attract about 5 times more traffic than those that blog less than 4 times a month. Businesses that move past 21 to 54 accumulated blog posts see traffic to said blog increase by as much as 30%.

To Blog is to be Competitive

Bloggers and blogging has morphed into a leading marketing tactic, so to ignore blogging is to be left behind — surrendering part of your target market to your competitors. HubSpot tells us that 81% of companies with blogs categorize them as crucial to their overall marketing strategy.

They also report that 92% of companies with blogs who post several times a day have attracted a customer – at least one – from their blog.blogging for business in bloggers

These are some serious reasons to become bloggers and promote your business. Blogging is not only a savvy marketing tactic, but it is also a tool that pushes companies to think about what they do and why.

In addition to your online content publishing strategy, you should also consider good old-fashioned lead generation methods to get qualified prospects calling you on the phone. We came out with a done-for-you lead generation service that takes care of everything without taking your time away from building your brand. Click here to see if it’s right for you.

What great fun it is to blog.  We enjoy the exercise, plus there is a business part of the blogging process.  We hope this was of some help for you.  Leave us a comment below.

Facebook Likes – Like to Buy or Not to Buy?

Facebook Likes – Like to Buy or Not to Buy?

Facebook Likes sellers have existed since the Like was rolled out in 2009, and it offered a way for users to show their support for a person or company while burning a fraction of a calorie.  Some companies, such as Burberry and Levi’s have over ten million likes.

Still, Facebook likes don’t necessarily mean anything in terms of usefulness.  Sure, if all you just want is to appear popular, then a high like count will get you there.

On the other hand, if you want to actually achieve a specific goal with your Facebook Group, you’ll want to look beyond quantity.

The Power of the Facebook Likes

Facebook like image on About page bea-terryreevesIn a way, Facebook Likes are to reach what back links are to rank in Google.  Facebook’s ever-aware back-end is analyzing your engagement at all times.  The more Facebook likes you get, the more reach you’ll have, and the more your content is shared.  It’s a cycle, and it can help you build immense brand awareness.

PTAT, or People Talking About This, which is part of Facebook’s algorithm, is a measure of fan engagement, and likes feature heavily in its calculation.  However, it’s important to understand that not all likes are created equal.  If your group is populated by accounts that never interact with you, your PTAT score will fall.ptat in facebook likes

Once this happens, you’ll find yourself paying more for Facebook ads and reaching a tiny fraction of your fanbase with your posts.  A high PTAT score, on the other hand, is likely to be accompanied by increased sales and brand ambassadorship.  The fact is that when people like your content, they’re more likely to buy from you in the future.

In fact, you can think of Facebook Likes as the first step in a valuable sales funnel. Real fans will engage with your high-quality content, and they’ll more readily join your mailing list.  From there, you’re free to build a relationship that could lead to numerous sales.

Buyer Beware

Many Facebook Like merchants claim to bring you likes from “real” people.  The thing is that even if these are real, flesh and blood people, they’re likely receiving a few pennies from the merchant to like your content.  This means that they don’t care who you are, or what you have to offer.

These people will be low-engagement fans, and they’ll drag your PTAT score down into oblivion. In the worst case, these merchants offer “bot” likes.  That is, the likes come from unmanned Facebook accounts.  Facebook can identify these ghost accounts quite easily, and any likes received from them are virtually worthless.

What to Do

Facebook would have you solve this quandary by paying them to present your content to targeted individuals.  At the end of the day, this may be the only viable solution for quickly amassing a real following. facebook advertising in facebook likes These people will have expressed an interest in your niche, and they are active Facebook users.

The good news is that Facebook’s advertising system is extremely effective.  You can lower your advertising expenses by paying attention to Facebook Insights.  Post your content when most of your fans are online, and your engagement will increase.

Check to see whether your fans prefer links, images, or videos, and then give them what they want. As your engagement increases, you’ll be able to buy additional likes at a lower price.

Keeping tabs on the social media marketing landscape is pivotal to your success.  If you’d like to have access to even more powerful marketing tips, as well as a way to generate conversion-ready Internet marketing prospects each month, click here to learn more about our done-for-you system.

Make Social Media Followers Eager to Share Your Company’s Posts

Make Social Media Followers Eager to Share Your Company’s Posts

Social media provides a quick way to keep in contact with both potential and existing customers and clients.  Simply post to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or any number of other sites whenever you offer a new product or service, have a special offer, or want to impart important information about your company.  Each post is designed to push visitors or subscribers to visit your website and sign up for a newsletter or make a purchase.

increase reach in social mediaKnowing the basic information you want to share is not enough to entice people to follow you and, especially, to share what you post with their friends and family.  This type of organic, word of mouth marketing can do more to increase your company’s reach and profit base than anything else.

Once you have this traffic source flowing, long-term business relationships will flourish.  This is exactly what you need for increasing profits and improved brand recognition across your industry.

But how do you encourage your social media followers to share your company posts with others?

It makes sense that someone interested in your products or services may know people who are interested in the same things.  They may repost your announcements of sales or special offers since they will want their friends to save money or try great products too, but how do you get them talking about your company in between times?

Make Social Media Posts Too Interesting to Ignore

People need a reason to share your social media posts.  Make them interesting, with new and unique information.  social media funnelBe personal.  Instead of sounding like a company announcement, sound like a friend helping them with a problem.  Use humor, pictures, and video as well.

No matter what, the social media posts should encourage people to share them with friends by making them too good to ignore.  If you have enough character space, tell them to share them as well.

Make it Point to Something Great

In order for any tweet or Facebook post to make people want to share, it needs to point to something they want to know more about or buy.  Use links wisely in your posts and make sure everything on the social media sites and your business website converts interested people into long-term customers.  build trust in social mediaBuild the trust and people will be more eager to share everything you have to say.

The entire process takes some trial and error and a healthy dose of patience and effort. Unless you have a dedicated social media expert in your company, it can begin to detract from other things you should be focusing on like development and customer service.

Getting more traffic to your site and more leads for all your offers is where we come in. Our done-for-you lead generation service will drive traffic, opt-ins, and sales for you in a fraction of the time and hassle.  Check it out today!

Email messages – Useful vs Perpetual

Email messages – Useful vs Perpetual

It’s no secret that email messages offer many exciting advantages over other advertising channels.  Still, it’s sometimes useful to take a step back and consider the amount of work that would be required to reach prospective customers if email marketing wasn’t available.

postcard advertisingImagine having to create a direct-to-customer campaign using printed postal mailings or cold calling.  To send out a postcard campaign, you’d have to hire a designer and then wait for that designer to get back to you with a design that you like.  Then you’ll have to print the cards, stuff them into envelopes and mail them off.

A telesales campaign is no less work.  You’ll have to write a script, locate leads, and then wait while your representatives make the calls.  Not fun.  On the other hand, email messages allow you to reach your prospects within hours.  You’ll need to write or approve the copy, finalize the design, target your list and then hit “Send.”

Another advantage of email marketing:  real-time email messages.  If you’re crafty, you can catch your target audience when they’re most receptive.  This allows you to create a sense of urgency with time-sensitive deals or to quickly reduce stock. email messages With today’s email marketing technology, you can even target prospects on their special days — think birthdays and anniversaries.

On that note, you can even speak directly to your prospects in your email messages. Try including your customer’s purchasing history in a postcard, or subdividing a list of postal mail leads.  Just as important, email messages allow you to interact with your customers in an environment that feels safe to them.  Still, there is a fine line between being a guest and a pest.

Useful Email Messages

The Direct Marketing Association UK conducted a study in 2014 that found that most UK residents prefer email over other marketing channels, with one caveat:  the overwhelming majority of consumers prefer to receive useful messages as opposed to perpetual email messages.  achieve goals in email messagesThere’s a clear reason why:  the former focuses on building the relationship.

As a guest in their inbox, your first objective should be to demonstrate to your prospects that you have a lot to offer.  It takes more than humorous stories and thinly-veiled sales pitches to increase your conversion rate.  You have to strive to help your prospect along in their endeavor to reach their goals.

Useful email messages are those that provide prospects with information that they care about. You don’t have to give them the whole pie, but you should be able to whet their appetite with a few crumbs that will get them one step further along.

Perpetual Email Messages

Perpetual messages are what most marketers call “follow-up messages.”  They serve no purpose other than to keep a marketer’s name appearing in a prospect’s inbox, and they’re often little more than spam.

Granted, research does show that the more often you send out commercial emails, the more sales you’ll generate.  On the other hand, you’ll experience a drop off in conversions if you’re sending out nothing but perpetual messages.  Gmail makes it easier than ever for consumers to ban overzealous marketers from the inbox.  Keep this in mind:  impersonal emails are often deleted.

Email marketing can offer massive leverage for your marketing efforts, but it can be a lot to manage as well.  If you would like to have access to ready-to-convert prospects on a monthly basis, click here to learn all about our done-for-you leads system.

Simplicity Lies in the Not-Too-Distant Future

Simplicity Lies in the Not-Too-Distant Future

Simplicity is in a website that is the hub of your online marketing strategies, as it’s where potential customers usually learn about your business, and where most social marketing platforms lead to at some point.

There are almost 1 billion websites on the Internet, and human beings are spending more and more time online.  Americans, for example, spend about 23 hours a week in cyber-land and many seek only simplicity.

What is becoming absolutely clear from all this is that loud, convoluted websites increasingly frustrate and annoy users.

Simplicity is NOT a Website that Annoys

Marketing gurus know that a useful way to learn how to design a website is to look at some pages that were badly, maybe even horribly, designed.Simplicity as it compares to simplistic  A first-hand experience with a bothersome website fuels a passion that can then be poured into building a simple website that is a pleasure to browse.

Take the website of Diller, Scofidio, & Renfro – as you log onto this website, you get the pleasure of waiting while 57 individual visual tiles are flipped over.  You , head over to www.touchofmodern.com, where a text box demands your email address before allowing you to view the landing page.  Websites should be welcoming…not annoying.

Websites that Embrace Simplicity

Just as hanging out on an annoying website can teach a designer or entrepreneur what to avoid, spending some quality time on cool, simple sites illuminates how simplicity of design makes would-be customers feel.

For example, www.wix.com breaks down the basic tenets of IX design so that even creative types that visibly cringe at the word “code” can learn what they want to.

You could also surf over to www.studionudge.com, where you will be greeted with a tasteful collage of samples of the work they do – would-be clients just click on an image to learn more.

Harvard Reviews Stickiness

The Harvard Business Review, in May of 2012, published an article on what makes a customer, to use their term, “sticky.” keep life simple in simplicityA sticky customer is described as one who is likely to complete the steps necessary to buy a product, and is also likely to buy it again and recommend said product.

So what exactly pleases these sticky customers, and what do they value above all else? The answer is simplicity, as the sticky customer wants businesses to make things as easy and clear as possible for shoppers. A sticky customer would not hang out at an unnecessarily complicated website.

Websites Imitate Life

We know that as the Internet has become louder, human beings have responded by wanting it to quiet down.  This truism is borne out in other areas as well in how we want to live in the physical world.

The blogosphere is spilling over with advice on how to embrace a different way of living. A popular blog called Slow Your Home offers advice on how to create an uncluttered bedroom, and suggests that its readers embrace the fine art of doing absolutely nothing.

Again, your website is the heart of an online marketing strategy, and there is a consensus on this point among those successful marketers who know.  A simple, functional website is an absolute requirement for the future.  We strongly suggest keeping this in mind when creating or revising your website.  In the meantime, our team has created several extremely simple websites that we send visitors to and make sales from daily.  We generate leads for some of our students as well.  Click here to see if this done-for-you traffic & sales system is right for you.

The Internet of Things

The Internet of Things

“The Internet of Things” is a buzzword that came into use in late 2012 and has surged in popularity.  The term refers to the process by which everyday appliances become “smart” with the addition of computer components, sensors, and wireless modems that connect them to the Internet.internet of things post

Savvy companies large and small are predicting that this internet of things change will result in a bold new age of marketing. These firms envision a world in which ads are ubiquitous and highly targeted.  Some credit futurist R. Buckminster Fuller with predicting this trend, with his concept of ephemeralization.

Ephemeralization refers to the tendency of society to innovate to the point at which they’re able to achieve more than previous generations did with a fraction of the work required.  The advent of wireless Internet and any number of sensors will enable engineers to create everything from smart clothes to smart toasters.

Smart Marketing is The Internet of Things

Everyone uses a refrigerator—but in the future, some of us will see ads for weight loss products when we open the refrigerator door.  These individuals will have invariably opted into a list or searched for such products on one of the major search engines.  While they will be the object of scorn for some, these ads will nevertheless prove highly effective.

The source of their effectiveness lies in the fact that they evoke an emotional reaction. Search engine giant Google has made it clear to the Securities and Exchange Commission that they intend to implement this type of advertising as soon as possible.

mobile in internet of thingsIn an open letter to the organization, Google said, “We expect the definition of “mobile” to continue to evolve as more and more ‘smart’ devices gain traction in the market.” Google intends to display these ads in car dashboards, thermostats, glasses, and watches, among other devices.

The key to profiting from these ads will lie in the marketer’s ability to write copy that is appropriate for the scenario.  Understanding why the ad is appearing where it is — and under what circumstances — will be crucial.  As always, poorly targeted ads will aggravate consumers and will result in higher CPC rates.

Adding Value to Products with an App

mobile apps in internet of thingsSavvy marketers in the next 10 years will focus on creating apps that allow consumers to directly control their smart devices with the internet of things.  These apps will expose consumers to the app creator’s brand while making the consumers’ lives easier.

This is a win-win scenario that can easily be monetized with the “freemium” model.  In this model, an app is created that provides basic features for free, yet its most desirable features are hidden behind a pay gate.  Freemium is a proven effective pricing model in the app space, and going forward, consumers will be willing to pay a premium if they can do more with their smart devices.

Lindsay Corporation, a major player in the agriculture industry, has a head start on their competitors.  Their app, which allows users to control their sprinkler systems in real time from any smartphone, frees their users from the chore of having to adjust their systems manually from the farm itself.  This translates into saved time or money, or both.

The Internet of things continues

Other potential apps that operate under the same principle include an app that monitors parking spaces in urban settings, apps that give early warning of earthquakes and building instabilities, and apps that monitor noise levels in public establishments.

With the internet of things, the opportunities however, are likely limitless.  Note that all of these apps will require access to specialized sensors and that these sensors will have to be maintained.  This will likely include an additional layer of cost, so it’s essential that your monetization scheme take this into account.

Keeping abreast of these internet of things innovations will prove pivotal to your success in the coming decade.  If you’d like to have access to even more powerful marketing tips, as well as a means to generate conversion-ready Internet marketing prospects each month, click here to learn about our done-for-you system.
